She finished third at the 23 World Championships in 2008, as well as took home the championship in the National Pursuit and 30k. In 2010 Stephen earned 3rd in the 10K FR at the U.S. Championships. Stephen is not only a passionate skier, but is also involved in giving back to many organizations, including Nothing but Nets, which provides mosquito netting to help the spread of malaria, Fast and Female, getting girls in shape and in sports(an organization started by fellow Team GreenLaces's member Chandra Crawford) and the Shelley Glover Fund.
