Erin Hamlin
Hamlin Started training for the luge when she was 12, and is now one of the best athletes in her respective sport. She holds the track record in Lake Placid, NY(There are only two tracks in the United States) and has two junior national championship titles. Hamlin's greatest achievement came in February of last year, where she won the World Championship. She was the first American to ever win this title, and by doing so broke Germany's 99-race winning streak. Look for Hamlin going for the gold in Vancouver.

Erin Hamlin will be competing for the United States in the Luge. She took twelfth place at the Winter Games in Turino, but this year Hamlin is an ESPN "Athlete to watch".
